Computer Science Education Week is an annual celebration of computer science, and a large part of CSEdWeek includes encouraging students across the country to spend some time coding. The goal of this week is to advocate for equity in the computer science industry.
02 — How was I involved in CSEdWeek?
CodeHS visited more than 160 schools during CSEdweek, and I diligently monitored every school visit. I determined which schools gave us the proper permission to post on our social media. I also interacted with every post, story, and comment from schools or teachers the company visited.
03 — How many total posts and interactions took place during this week?
We primarily focused on Instagram, utilizing stories and grid posts. Over the course of a week and a half, we posted more than 45 stories, including 30 unique pictures taken by team members and 15 mentions from schools and teachers.
